YMCA - sport 2013 citizen award

Dear friends, I want to share with all of you perhaps one of the most appreciated distinctions received throughout my years, I am referring to the designation to my person, where give me unanimously Prize YMCA "Citizen of the 2013 sports", with all respect I consider that this Honorable appointment, is thanks to each and every one of us, i.e. Athletes, clubs, coaches, referees, associations, leaders, federations and confederations at national level and international, all these beautiful people who day after day honor this wonderful mind game called "Dominoes".

For the first time in the history of my homeland is honored "The Domino Venezolano", greater joy that through my person we enjoy together share such a high distinction.

I want to take this article to thank the Chairman of the Board Directors of the Federation Venezuelan of Domino "FVD", Professor: EFRAIN VELASQUEZ RAMOS, and the team that accompanies it, allowing me to contribute during these years with the plans of massification of the Venezuelan Dominoes in all categories, goals paths with dignity so honorable Board.

Would also like to thank Dr. JOEL M. MARÍN, President of the Organizing Committee of the YMCA Awards, and the team that accompanies it have appointed unanimously, filling me with joy but mainly honour and excellence with such high designation.

Friends without any doubt let me say with all certainty and without fear to be wrong, the Domino Venezuelan and international Dominoes, are dressed in their finery, sharing welcome so honorable distinction.

For those internationally who are unaware of the origin of this extraordinary partnership, I will tell you April 09, the year of 1946 born in Caracas, the Christian Association of youth YMCA, whose mission is to "contribute to the INTEGRAL development of the individual and the family, within a conception Christian life, without distinctions of creed, SOCIAL status and ETHNICITY through recreational, cultural, educational, health care and sports programs".

Prize YMCA "good athlete from Venezuela

In the year of 1954 is created the prize YMCA "Good athlete from Venezuela", which is given annually to athletes, in order to highlight its sporting spirit, moral conditions, characteristics of a good citizen and encourage its development as an example to the youth, as well as its positive action in the community.

YMCA "Citizen of the sport" award

In the year 2005 the Venezuelan youth YMCA associations Christian Federation, set the prize YMCA "Citizen of the sport of Venezuela" to be awarded to current, sport leaders, coaches sports, sports journalists, photographers and people who have contributed significantly to the development of the national sport, for his irreproachable citizen behavior, social work and high in the Venezuelan sport.

YMCA "Order YMCA" award

The YMCA Caracas order was delivered for the first time next year (2012), and is is the recognition to Venezuelans who have achieved a successful performance at the international level in their respective sports discipline.

I shall conclude with a simple thought, but beautiful and profound turn of the creator Professor Hernán A. Romero award YMCA good athlete from Venezuela: "a good athlete is who wins the admiration of the sport for good behavior and moral passion. It serves for example and encouragement of youth."
